Branding is one of the most important aspects of any business, large or small, retail or B2B. An effective brand strategy gives you a major edge in increasingly competitive markets. Simply put, your brand is your promise to your customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products and services, and it differentiates your offering from your competitors.
A Great brand is the most valuable real estate in the world – a corner of the consumer’s mind. A Great brand are much more than a slogan, a logo, a campaign or a product. A Great brand is the promise to always deliver value for money. It represents an image that is unique, timeless and that consumers identify with.

 

GLOBAL BRAND AWARD

This Award will go to the organization that best demonstrates a growth strategy that has achieved outstanding levels of sales, profit and market share improvement by means which include international expansion, new products and services introduction, new market creation, the development or expansion of product and service ranges. This Award is designed to showcase best brands to global consumers, to enable enterprises to achieve a greater say in international markets and to advance the development of the global industry.

ELIGIBILITY OF ENTRY

  • Businesses or corporations should be a registered company.
  • Brand has been established for more than three (3) years.
  • The company should not have been involved in any business legal suit or have regulatory problems with the relevant authorities in the past three (3) years.
  • The last audited financial statement shown at a profit.
  • The awardee should have a strong market presence within their country of origin and ideally have a recognized brand name in at least 4 foreign markets.

SUPER EXCELLENT BRAND AWARD

This Award recognises the Corporations, Entrepreneurs, Products & Services for their outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in brand management. The awardee displays innovative yet effective branding strategies that have propelled themselves as a recognized brand name in the market.

ELIGIBILITY OF ENTRY

  • Businesses or corporations should be a registered company.
  • Brand has been established for more than two (2) years.
  • The company should not have been involved in any business legal suit or have regulatory problems with the relevant authorities in the past two (2) years
  • The last audited financial statement shown at a profit.
  • The awardee should have a strong market presence within their country of origin and ideally have a recognized brand name in at least 2 foreign markets in Asia Pacific region.

POWER BRAND AWARD

This Award celebrates the success of the fastest growing brand and very top brands in each participating country at the awards. These are brands that are household names in their home country that have been judged to be truly exceptional.

ELIGIBILITY OF ENTRY

  • Businesses or corporations should be a registered company.
  • Brand has been established for more than two (2) years.
  • The company should not have been involved in any business legal suit or have regulatory problem with the relevant authorities in the past two (2) years
  • The last audited financial statement shown at a profit.
  • Minimum annual sales turnover of USD600,000 (RM2.4 million)

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD

This Award recognized the business personalities who, through a combination of leadership skill, incisive vision and strength of character; have advanced their organization’s strategic goals both locally and abroad. It is also a trademark that signifies pride of the entrepreneurs. Nomination is open to all Entrepreneurs who :
  • Lead a registered company or organization.
  •  The company should not have been involved in any business legal suit or have regulatory problem with the relevant authorities in the past two (2) years.
  • The last audited financial statement shown at a profit.
  • For Asia candidate, a minimum annual sales turnover or assets of USD1 Million or more (RM 4 Million).
  • For Global candidate, a minimum annual sales turnover or assets of USD2 Million or more (RM 8 Million).

ENTRY GUIDANCE

The nominees may submit any number of entries to any of the categories in the AWARDS. This includes submitting different entries in different categories, as well as submitting the same entry in multiple categories.
When appropriate, the same entry may be submitted in multiple categories, with the administrative & processing fees due for each category entered. Since each entry is judged separately in each category it is submitted in, entries submitted in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards.

 

AWARDS PROCESS

  1.  The Nominations team proactively invites companies to participate in    the awards across different regions.
  2.  Submit the completed nomination form (Online or soft copy) together with the administrative & processing fees to the Secretariat before the closing date.
  3. The nomination form is passed on to the internal research team who ensure that the nomination is valid. The team also ensures that adequate data is available for the research agency.
  4. The shortlisted nominations are passed on to an independent external research agency who will scrutinize the nominations based on different criteria.
  5. The results are then passed on to the Global Branding Council who will decide on the award winners based on fundamental objectives. The Global Branding Council consisting of a panel of members from statutory boards, brand consultants and corporate leaders, perform the final judging. The veracity of claims made in Finalist entries may be audited. Any entry found to contain false or misleading information will be disqualified.
  6. The winners are then announced on the website under the Award Winners Section.
